As a base model I thrifted a pair of G-Star Elwood 96's this vintage, these jeans are hard to find in this good of a condition and I knew it would make for a killer project.
I distressed the entire pants front and backside taking several days, this was by far the most time consuming piece to this date in terms of distressing.
After tackling a few of the sewing pieces myself I realized I needed some help. I consulted with Sterallures and we came up with the waffle patterned sewing together. We started treating this project as a collab and discussed on how to tackle this gigantic project.
On his industrial sewing machine he started making the little blocks, creating a unique look on the distressing work.
The photoshoot was handled in 2 steps this time.
Sterallures had enough materials to hold his first drop around the time this project was finished and he handled the entire modeling, camerawork, and directing.
I was only in charge of the detailed close-up pictures listed in the gallery two footnotes above.
This was our biggest project to date and we're both very proud of it.
