After learning how to distress and gaining basic sewing knowledge I was ready to design my first pair of jeans.
online popculture is an integral part of ISDB. Being as iconic as ever the trollface is an eye catcher, I knew I wanted to redraw it in my own tribal esque style.
After having done the drawing I headed back to the ideafactory, reworking the placement and doing some local thrifting for high end denim.
After the screenprinting was done, I started distressing the denim with a dremel, a couple of hours later it was all ripped up and ready to be reworked.
Because of the red stitching already present in the pair of jeans I acquired, I thought it was only fitting to put something bloodred under the jeans.
Rick had an old pair of red Carhartt corduroy jeans laying around.
Together we sewed it into the jeans zig-zagging across the distressed patches to hold it in place.
To widen the pants a split was also sewn in. Its a pair of Wrangler jeans with the back pocket sewn in upside down.
I added further distressing details at the bottom and top op the jeans to finish off the weathered look.
